1. \u00bfTodos los municipios est\u00e1n facultados para otorgar licencia de conductor?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

Solo 237 municipalidades cumplen con los requisitos y cuentan con la autorizaci\u00f3n necesaria del Ministerio de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones para emitir este documento.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo estar\u00e1 operativo el nuevo examen te\u00f3rico en todas las municipalidades?<\/strong><\/p>\n

El examen te\u00f3rico electr\u00f3nico debe estar implementado en las municipalidades que otorgan la licencia desde el d\u00ed\u00ada 6 de diciembre de 2012 para las clases B y C. Las municipalidades que no tengan el nuevo examen te\u00f3rico no podr\u00e1n otorgar m\u00e1s licencias hasta que lo tengan.<\/p>\n

3. \u00bfQu\u00e9 pasa si mi municipalidad no tiene implementado el nuevo examen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Debe acudir al municipio m\u00e1s cercano a tu domicilio que haya implementado el nuevo examen. Revise el mapa con los municipios que est\u00e1n autorizados para otorgar licencias nuevas.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4. \u00bfC\u00f3mo puedo saber si mi municipalidad tiene o no el nuevo examen te\u00f3rico?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Puedes llamar directamente a tu municipio o bien revisar el mapa informativo\u00a0para saber cu\u00e1les son los municipios que tienen el nuevo examen te\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5. \u00bfQu\u00e9 pasa si reprob\u00e9 el examen te\u00f3rico en la modalidad antigua y al volver a darlo est\u00e1 el nuevo examen te\u00f3rico implementado en mi municipalidad?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Si al momento de rendir tu examen te\u00f3rico ya est\u00e1 implementado el nuevo examen electr\u00f3nico en tu municipalidad, tendr\u00e1s que rendir el examen en la nueva modalidad, pues este corresponder\u00e1 al instrumento v\u00e1lido para obtenci\u00f3n de licencia.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6. \u00bfPuedo realizar el examen pr\u00e1ctico o examen m\u00e9dico en una municipalidad que no tiene el nuevo examen te\u00f3rico electr\u00f3nico?<\/strong><\/p>\n

El municipio que no cuente con el nuevo examen te\u00f3rico no puede otorgar nuevas licencias, por lo tanto, tampoco puede tomar ex\u00e1menes de ning\u00fan tipo a nuevos conductores, ni pr\u00e1cticos ni m\u00e9dicos. Solamente puede entregar renovaciones y duplicados de licencia. Adem\u00e1s, puede continuar otorgando licencias de otras clases (clases A).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7. Si quiero renovar mi licencia de conductor, \u00bfdebo rendir el nuevo examen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. El nuevo examen te\u00f3rico es solamente para aquellas personas que postulen por primera vez a la licencia de conductor clases B y C. Al renovar licencia, no tienes que volver a dar el examen te\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

8. \u00bfEs obligatorio hacer el curso de conducir en una escuela de conductores para rendir el nuevo examen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No, solo es obligatorio para los postulantes a licencia de conductor excepcionales, es decir, mayores de 17 a\u00f1os y menores de 18 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
