Esta nueva normativa, establecida en el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leychile.cl\/Navegar?idNorma=1045386\" target=\"_blank\">Decreto 200\/12<\/a>, reemplaza la normativa del a\u00f1o 1996.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A partir de ahora, los llamados lomos de todo reducir\u00e1n su altura <strong>de 9 a 7,5 cent\u00ed\u00admetros<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n tendr\u00e1n un dise\u00f1o diferente: una curva ascendente gradual, una cima redondeada y una pendiente suave, con el objetivo de evitar da\u00f1os en la carrocer\u00ed\u00ada baja del veh\u00ed\u00adculo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para poder contar con estos nuevos <strong>resaltos reductores de velocidad<\/strong>, los municipios tienen que acreditar que muchos de los accidentes ocurridos est\u00e1n asociados al exceso de velocidad.
